Dissidia: Final Fantasy (AKA Tree-Siddy-a: Final Fantasy)

My husband recently asked me why I haven’t said much about the upcoming Dissidia: Final Fantasy for the Sony PSP. I realised with some surprise that he was right: I’ve barely raised a “Hooray” for Squeenix’s Final Fantasy-themed fighting game.
Pardon me. Squeenix’s Final Fantasy-themed dramatic progressive action game.

MOTHER Fans: Please Find a Sense Of Humour

No, really. Please do it. It’s a shame that you all feel the need to fly into Puritan rages over an RPG series known for its off-the-wall humour.

Bow Before the New Prince of Persia

If you have qualms about falling to your knees, don’t think of it as an act of submission and reverence. Think of it as the only way you’re going to be able look the little Prince in the eyes.
“Now Prince, I already told you, no cookies before bedtime.”

Read My LOL Review For the Lulz.

Gamepro published my review of LOL for the DS. The game is definitely passable as a quick party diversion. It’s available for twenty bucks on Agetec’s website. If you’re lame at hosting parties, you can’t go wrong.

Secret Agent Clank Looks Like a Cute Little Blast

I’m glad to see a small oasis in the PSP drought: Secret Agent Clank-On The Go. It’s a bite-sized version of what we’ve come to expect from Ratchet and Clank. There’s cool vehicles, neat gadgets and lots of charm and personality.
IGN doth beg to differ, however.

My Summon Night Review by Nadia, Age 6.

I write reviews for Gamepro sommadatime. One of my more recent ones just went up: Summon Night Twin Age for the Nintendo DS.
It’s a solid little game, if unremarkable. Boy meets girl, girl bakes endlessly for boy, humans wreck world, oh dear, boy and girl must do something about it.
I make a crack in the […]

Touch Some Anime Bum on the DS

I swear I have something like twenty bucks worth of loonies and toonies on top of my desk and I should really make use of them somehow.
At least I know what I won’t be spending them on: To LOVEru, an ass-obsessed game for the DS and PSP.

Vital Nostalgia: The Ecto-1 On Tour

Vivendi and Sony Games are taking the Ecto-1 on tour in honour of the upcoming Ghostbusters games.
You know in your heart that you’re never going to be a real man until you hijack this car, so you may as well take a look at the tour schedule.

Bribe the Senate with Disgaea DS!

Disgaea DS has a pretty awesome trailer. It’s like the video game version of the Powerthirst ads. Were you really expecting any less?
Lift, lift lift! Throw, throw, throw! Explode?!
(Damn Prinnies.)

Caught Them All? No You Haven’t.

With Pokemon, it’s never safe to say you caught them all. Pokemon breed like rabbits and mutate like the Children of the Apocalypse; they will swarm us and we will continue to coddle them until they eat every last sheaf of our cereal crops.
Fear not, bleeding-heart Pokemon lovers: we’ll never have a chance to starve […]
